Hello to all!Perhaps those in the know can answer some questions I have regarding the new PPP coming out...
1) What will the unit do should it encounter a large under or over voltage? Turn off?
2) Is there any kind of load indicator/display on the front (% of 1500W output, for example) to measure just how much your equipment is pulling and how close you are to using up the PPPs' ability?
3) What happens if you overdrive the unit? Bypass to AC line? Is that indicated on the display?I ask as I have a *very* power hungry Krell 400cx amp and it can easily draw as much as the line can provide. While 1500W might seem like a lot, I am worried that it will be used up quickly upon the Krell starting to really run at high listening levels. Is it best for me to measure the pull with an ammeter to determine its power needs at any time, and ultimately if the PPPs' 1500W is sufficient? The preamp/CD only take about 125W combined, so that pulls from the available power. I want the entire system to receive proper AC as I feel this provides the greatest sonic benefit (I have proven this with other AC regenerators in the past).
