Speaker cable for HCA-2

I just purchased a used HCA-2 to go with my Magnepan MG12's, and I have a question about speaker cables. I'll be going from 21' interconnects and 18" speaker cables to 1 meter interconnects and 21' speaker cables (HCA-2 will be replacing my tube mono blocs).

I plan to use magnet wire for my new speaker cables and am wondering if this is apt to upset the amp? If so, are there any other decent, but inexpensive, cable configurations that I should consider? RFI doesn't seem to be a problem in my environment.
