Harvester with PP600

I got a few Harvester the other day.
I am a little puzzled. I have a PP600. Now I thought the whole idea of PP is to generates clean AC. I plugged one of my Harvesters into the PP600 and it blinks like crazy! How can AC from the PP be dirty?
