PP 300 flashing display

Hi guys. I've got an old PP300 with (I believe) MW 1. Anyway, I cannot find the operating instructions so I have this question.

When I depress the mode button to cycle through the various functions that can be monitored on the display, when I get to the point where output voltage comes up the reading constantly flashes and then automatically moves on to the next display function after 30 seconds or so. So when I see this flashing 117 is this normal or is the flashing a warning that something is amiss?
