How to connect the PPP in Phase

Hello,

i have the following question.

Is it necessary or important to connect the PPP in Phase to the wall plug and how can I determine the right Phase of the PPP?
I checked all my other equipement with a polarity checker.
Can i use a polarity checker for the correct connection or does anybody know
where the "hot Phase" at the PPP is?
