PP sinewave adjustment/settings?

This might have been discussed before. Wondering what frequency are you using most of the time. I have my PP1000 between 55Hz-60Hz & seems to sound best. I have tried higher Hz but seems to rob some bass frequencies. I have mostly US made equipment but living in Oz.
