Why isn't "humbusting" built into all PSA conditioners?

I'm thinking about picking up a humbusting product to see if it will remove the slight hum in my amps. Of course, this means adding more "stuff" in the power path -- both electrically and physically (as if I don't already have enough stuff lying around back there -- so I'm wondering why humbusting wasn't into built into the Quintessence and other conditioning products. Was it just a cost issue?
