I know it's frustrating for us both - but I can assure you every unit we send out is thoroughly checked for every parameter - and especially the trimpot problem which has crept into a few of these units. We believe the problem has something to do with shipping. You're right about looking at a less fragile design for the part - and by all means we're looking at that as well.
