ppp output voltage and adjustment

I just received my new PPP today. After connecting it the output voltage was 101 V. I remembered the posts about an adjustment screw. I didn't see the screw but theres's a recesed control that can be adjusted by hand. I fiddled with it until I set the voltage to 120V but it's not very easy to set it to a fixed point. Moreover after sometime the voltage starts to vary and comes down again to 100V. Am I doing something wrong or do I have a deffective unit?
