Would this just replace the existing outlet and stand out from the wall a bit more? Like a lot of people, I really don't want to replace my outlet boxes. That would be particularly problematic on my exterior walls since they are block with a 3/4" furring strip behind the drywall. Replacing those would be a lot of work.
