Thanks for the kind words Arlan. The voltage on the PPP can be adjusted if you wish. There's a small control on the bottom side of the PPP near the front panel. Make sure the front panel meter is on output voltage, and turn the little control to the desired voltage. Call us if you have any questions.
The P300 and PPP are both regenerating new voltage from DC so in that respect they are the same. Not sure why you're getting worse results as in our system the PPP is clearly better sounding on most stuff. i will say the P300 seems a tad better on some preamps and CD players, but it's minimal. The vast majority of equipment we power with the PP sound more open, clean and dynamic than a P300.
What aspects sounds better/worse to you?
Not sure about the stove clicking but it may be related to the Harvester. The PPP technology doesn't work as well at very high frequencies relative to the P300 - these frequencies can get through the PPP more than they do the P300 but it doesn't affect the critical areas of the sine wave and power.
