PPP Vs PP300

Hi Paul,
First, let me say that I love your products. All my power cords are premier SC,I have been using a PP300 for years and I have an Underwood modified GCPH for my phono. I have recently purchased the PP premier and I had a few questions.
Why does the unit cut my incoming power from 121 volts to 117 volts? Is there anyway to change the output Voltage?
I am also curious about how this unit cleans the power compared to my PP300. I have compared both units many times and The PP300 sounds better than the PPP in almost every situation. This surprises me, For instance, when my wife lights the stove the electronic clicking can be heard through my speakers when my equipment is hooked up to the premier but is totally silent when my equipment is hooked up the the PP300. Also, when I plug a Noise harvester into the premier it blinks very fast, the same rate as when it is plugged into the wall? When I plug it into the PP300 it rarly blinks at all. That seems strange to me.
