Welcome to the forum. I hope I can catch you in time. I took yesterday off.

SO...do I install the dedicated outlet (20A or 15A)?

It is a very smart thing to do installing a dedicated outlet under any condition. This shouldn't cost too much but the benefits are big and worth it. Absolutely go for it and, if you have the money, go for two - one for the power amp and one for everything else.

Do I purchase an upgraded outlet?

Yes. A Power Port is worth every penny. Even if you just have the electrician install a placeholder plug and then you go back afterwards and replace it, a Power Port is a good idea.

Then what?

Then you have a good foundation from which to build upon.

I'm very interested in the PPP. Obviously, there's something to be said about synergy. Should I stick with all PS Audio products (including power cords), since I have a GCC-250, or should I mix and match?

There are no better power management and cleaning products than the PS PPP. That is something I can say with great confidence have tested, listened to and evaluated just about everything on the market.

Start with the basics like you're doing. Take it one step at a time and adjust to the changes one by one so you learn what they are and can appreciate them.

Any help for a newbie in the power department would be very much appreciated!!!
