In theory would the combination of an ultimate outlet and the PPP get your audio system close to being off the grid? I'm looking for the best options here to make sure I'm provided with consistent clean power for my system.
I encounter way way to much variance in how my systems sounds because of the condition of electricity going to my house. One day my system will sounds like it's in peak form and worth every penny the next day it will sound like a cheap system from radio shack, or for instance I can unplug my system when it sounds like crap and plug it into an outlet not more than 1 foot away and it sounds great again.
I know another company that offers basically an entire home generator geared for aduio purist for $30,000 that does actually take you off the grid, but seeing as I'm not a millionaire I was wondering what a more reasonable combination of products I could use that would remove electric variance from my audio system.
I want to turn on my system each day and know what it is going to sound like without worry that it sounds like crap today maybe tomorrow it will sound good enough to listen to.
My current setup is
Lexicon MC-8B--pre\pro
Lexicon 512\Bryston 9bst 5 channel AMP
Gallo AV Reference center
Gallo Reference 3.1 mains
Magnepan MGMC1- Surrounds
Two Aperison SW8 subs
Panasonic DMP-BD10
