Burn in on this unit is essential. I think you need at least 1 to 2 weeks. If it still doesn't sound far better after that period, something's amiss.

Also, one of the issues with adding any kind of power product is the fact that you are adding an extra power cord in line. You need to make sure that between the two power cords, they are both excellent. The best one goes between the wall and the power conditioner, the next best between the conditioner and the equipment.

Let us know. I can't imagine any reason this won't just begin to sing after a bit of warm up.
