P300 problem

Hi Paul,

I bought a used P300 and am not hearing any improvement over my UPC 200. Not only that, I hear zero difference between different waveforms. I plug my Rega Apollo CDP and Adcom GFP 750 Preamplifier into the conditioner. I am a little puzzled because I expected (rightly or not) a large sonic improvement based on the reviews I read on the web. My question is:

- Is it my system that UPC 200 already maximizes its potential and P300 is an overkill?

- P300 wattage reading is always zero. I even tried plugging in my poweramplifier and still zero. Could this be an indication of the unit not working properly? All other displays are working though. Relevant or not, P300 has some screws on top that are rusted.

How can I check if it is my system or P300? Should I ship the unit in for inspection at the factory? Thank you in advance.
