Skytag makes a very good point and I agree with his assessment. If you are really, really interested in wanting to see if it makes a difference, obtain a Duet or Quintet or for that matter a Quintessance, from PS Audio on a 30 day trial and give it a shot. In my case, my power incoming in S. CA where I live has a lot of industrial junk on the line incoming. I obtained a Duet for two reasons, but mostly it was due to the fact I needed to have a closer outlet to plug both of my PPP's into and decided to give the Duet a shot. There was a small, but noticeable, improvement in the blackness between notes, deeper bass, slightly sweeter highs, and better instrumental focus albeit with an expanded sound stage.

Now, my results would not be indicative of what yours might be. I suggest you contact PS Audio C/S to discuss your particular situation or obtain one on a 30 day trial if you really feel you need to.

Any improvement with a Duet/Quintet/Quintessence between the wall and a PPP would be smaller, much smaller, than the inclusion of the PPP itself.
