The stock cord that comes with almost all audio equipment is commonly referred to as a "throwaway" cord. Most of us have some sitting in boxes. LOL It is a minimally functional, very cheap cord you can use until you decide to replace it with something better, and any audio grade power cord will be an improvement. Why don't they include something better? Isn't that obvious? There are probably dozens of manufacturers of power cords using a variety of technologies, ranging in price from $50 or so to $2000 or more per cord. The only reasonable thing to do is to ship components with cheap cords and let customers replace them with the cords they want and can afford. Furthermore, how would you feel about paying an extra $1000 for your PPP so it would come with a really great 1-meter cord you can't use because you need a 2-meter cord? ;-)
