It won't improve with burn in time. We've been learning a lot about 220 volt countries and my best guess is the PPP is using most of its healing powers to adjust your voltage level. There is a trimpot adjustment on the bottom of the unit that can be turned to adjust the output voltage which really needs to be a bit closer to 220. You can email us for help our ask your distributor. What country do you live in?
