Winnie,
Gee, heck of a front end (if you don't mind me saying so...). 2 TB of data storage. I can not even conceive of this amount of data storage. Amazes me. I think my brain still works on the 486 era designs. Certainly, I know it takes me several minutes to warm up in the morning....
I do like the valve amp you are using. Nice. Very, very nice, indeed. Don't have room for valve amps any longer (sigh). Cramped room, these days. Wish I could run large subs, too, but being in a townhouse, mmm, well, not a good idea. I loosen the stucco on the walls at times as it is. However, I do long for the good ol' days running electrostats on the mains. Ahh, yes, those were the days, my friend. Those were the days...
Enjoy. Keep us posted on the results.
If you have to group stuff on the PPP outlets, make sure you group like equipment together (i.e. such as amp/preamp), and keep the digital stuff separate as possible. Since running two PPP's one for analog, one for digital and each component on each PPP output has its own separate outlet and is therefore completely isolated from each other, my system has gone to new heights in terms of dead backround silence. Quiet as a mouse with lovely low level data retrieval.
Makes me wish for my old electrostats now. Oh well, such is life, they say.
Enjoy and let us all know.
Best,
Odd
