OK, here's another one for the sceptics to explain away:On 2 occasions, I have made interconnect cable changes to one of our systems without telling my wife. I wasn't trying to be secretive, just didn't tell her (I borrowed the cable for something else). On one of the 2 occasions she was out of town, so I know she didn't see it happen. We did not discuss the changes.
On both occassions, the same thing happened:
A couple of days after making the change, she complained that she didn't like the way it sounded, saying "I don't know what you did, but could you please put it back".
I can't comment on the statistical significance, but it's interesting to me that the only times she has ever complained about sound quality are the only 2 times I've switched out cables.
