It isn't a strip its a large chassis unit I got for $40 used that has internal filtering and a front panel volt meter but its power switch and the direct connection to the NAD it allowed made for a far superior sound.
I internally wired a set of Polk's myself. They are SD-1A's with 6 drivers per box. I used extra Kimber 4TC that was my speaker wire at the time. Sadly after all that work including binding post upgrades didn't seem worth the trouble and time. Terminating all those pieces of 4TC took some time too! The expense wasn't bad as I was in the business at the time.
Glad to see everybody beat me up on referring to the AC line as the signal path. Won't be the last mistake I make..............
