All I have time to say at the moment is that others brought up the word "empirical" here in this thread and I simply quoted the entire definition for "empirical" from the Oxford dictionary that I had handy on my desk with some emphasis added on the particularly amusing parts. I didn't select any medically specific parts at the expense of others; I just typed the whole thing up minus the example phrases and alternate spellings through the centuries.

Very odd assertion you made here that I somehow selected a word with medical overtones when others had already done so and to which I was just jokingly agreeing to the original assertion.
