Just curious Morricab...Why do you consider this ultra high power approach to amplifier design a compromise in and of itself? After all it is all in the implementation, aint it? It seems to me that if sufficient negative feedback is employed this amp could potentially be as pleasing as any other solid state amp, but with the advantage of the extra overhead necessary to sound good at that 1% of the time more conventional designs clip.
