The audiophile world has finally realized what the guitar players have known all along.

The real question becomes: is this the approach to music recreation that is best for me?

Personally I choose to purposefully leave these nonlinear *effects* out of my amplifier as much as possible and add them with effects boxes when deemed necessary.
