Morricab gives a very well conceived argument, but it is ignored for a simple orthodoxy of DBTs as usual. A methodology which is not convincing to readers is scientifically useless. There are many reasons why DBTesting is not convincing even if a small segment of psychology embraces it. I don't know why some proselytize so much for this method rather than merely embracing it in their own lives. That is a worthy question for other psychologists.
