Thanks for the new document, I look forward to studying it in detail soon. At first blush it appears that by normalizing for 1% distortion that it just shows that systems with feedback fall apart suddenly when they run out of loop gain.

I think the really cool thing is that you are keeping this to the fore. I can't think of anything more worthwhile to understand in the hobby at this point (at least for me) than learning why things that are very similar can sound so different from one another. I'm sure that it is rather well understood by the best manufacturers but I like the idea of us chickens also knowing.
