Ok, so we all agree that your first post included $hit you just made up. Jerry made no comments back in 2006 and the amusing discussion with jj to which you referred and changed subjects had nothing whatsoever to do with your fantasy of "I particularly enjoyed the lecture that Bold eagle gave you the other day, now that was good lecture on logical fallacies.. There were no lectures by ANYONE about ANYTHING, much less fallacies.

I suspect is is largely due to RFI effects and some notion of instantaneous current delivery, but have neither the FFT or RFI sniffing tools to validate. One begins with observation and then (if possible) seeks to quantify the underlying causes. My household is littered with RFI generating devices. For decades, designers have greatly under specified power supplies. The audible benefits of stiffer and more dynamic power supplies are evident. That's why everyone and his brother now uses toroids where possible. That's why everyone and his brother uses far larger storage capacities. That's why everyone and his brother uses lower ESR caps (greater numbers of smaller cap vs. a few beer cans).
JFC, why the hell couldn't you just have said, "hey, I confused the poster. And that thing about the lecture was just in jest". You're probably the life of the party when it comes to deciding where to eat lunch. It would take you four hours just to vocalize a specific and rational answer!
