Jeez Rick, I didn't even mention any names. Was it the software guys being as far down as chemists and pharmacists thing?
C'mon now, you're not the only software guy here. Don't let your insecurities surface so easily. There are probably lots of software/IT guys who believe that "subjectively" computers run faster using silver cables, screens look better after being cryoed and programs "seem to work better" when jars of jellybeans are placed near motherboards and crash less for other unknown scientific reasons, etc.
