It was meant as a generic reply to the common belief that "all things sound better when hotter". Then again, the title of your post DID say: "Why Do You Believe Audio Equipment "Sounds Better" After It's Warmed Up?"

I am more referring to the "common audiophile beliefs", like if you go to any boutique store they will say...

"Yes - it sounds wonderful doesn't it! And wait - it will 'open up' even more once it is properly warmed up, which should be around the 2nd week of June..."

And they're talking about a CD player.

That's all I am saying...
