Hi andy_c,Isn't that alot of trouble to go through, not to mention an inferior way of achieving a constant current for bias? It seems to me a dedicated constant current source would be the way to go. If this is a result of cheaping out for production, and this warm up improvement is truly audible it seems like at least the high end guys would use the more accurate circuitry. Maybe they do and this is just a gross example to show a point. I don't know maybe it's just me not being on the best circuitry for audio apps but that seems like a lame way to do it to me.
