These comments come from the same person who previously claimed at least 4 seperate times that SBTs are sufficinet for testing ICs, Power Cords & Knobs. But when I did an SBT with 8 sets of 1M IC's he refered to these SBTs as being non-science nonsense and palor games! Here's RGB's four statements about SBTs:

This post was actually addressed to me personally! RBG stated and I quote; "Maybe you can hear interconnect differences. Maybe you imagine these differences. An SBT could settle the issue in one hour. What are you scared of?" Yes even though RBG previously posted that an SBT was sufficient, now he's claiming (I)haven't done a real blind test to prove (I) can hear wire differences and it was non-science, nonsense and palor games!

This post was addressed to Cheap-Jack. In it RBG stated: Stop flapping your gums about how to test Power cords --if you believe they sound different, just do a one-hour SBT and prove it to yourself. ... or find out you had an overactive imagination. You have nothing to lose, and can only gain knowledge.

In this post RBG stated: "If someone thinks they hear a difference then a test is justified. A single blind test with something hiding the knobs would work.. No A-B volume matching would be needed. This would take less than an hour."

This post was addressed to Kerr about power cords and once again RBG stated: Any subjective experimentation with different wires is doomed as you already expect certain results = your mind will try to justify pre-existing beliefs. Plus the thicker speaker cables will be louder. Even YOU might hear that. So easy to do a single blind wire swap comparison.. Yet so rare among Golden Ears that you'd think and SBT was equivalent to the effort required to climb Mt. Everest!
RBG also claims we have such limited audio memory that after 1 minute we cannot remember what we've heard! Yet when I asked RBG he refused to answer how ---if that statement he about our audio memory is true--- we can recognize a saxophone from a trumpet, a piano from a harpsichord, a guitar from a harp, a mandolin from a banjo, a cello from a violin or our wife's/child's/parent's voice 3 minutes after they've left the house, when they call us on the phone!
Like the rest of the Lunatic Fringe amongst the objectivists here on PHP RBG will say anything ---and he'll say it over & over again--- but he won't and can't defend most everything he says. Just like with these two examples above! Only a hypocrite will tell you an SBT is sufficient to do for detecting differences in 1M ICs and then call it non-science nonsense once you've done it!
