Hi.
In a 2004 measurement report on "Understanding Sonic Difference of Cables", the chief engineer of Philips Digital Systems Labs, measured the THD of 4 cable of different design & built, using sine waves & actual music signals.
(1) a "freebie" A/V cables that comes free with any CD or DVD player.
(2) a Japanese brandname cable (OFC bare copper+foamed PE dielectric)
(3) a 50R coaxial cable (bare copper+solid PE dielectric_tinned copper shield.
(4) a coaxial cable (silver plated copper/shiled+Teflon dielectric+Teflon jacket).
Like many DBTs, the results showed there was NO difference measured among the 4 cables in THD, phase noise, micro phase shifts, & in/out difference.
Now you say you CAN measure the difference. So you are far better than Bruno.
But again, sonics & measuremnts so often don't agree with other.
