Again, as most people here would agree, a THD analysis of high frequencies is useless anyway - considering the band limits of our hearing mechanism. On the other hand difference frequency and intermodulation frequency distortions along with even more in vogue multisine or multisine on random signals are easily analyzed for non-linear content with-in the 25.6 K bandwidth.The 25.6K bandwidth comes from a somewhat standardized sequence of frequency spans that are are binary multiples of 100Hz, common to many industrial frequency analyzers - Makes the calculation incredibly efficient on binary microprossesors. (important when measuring 200-400 channels simultaneously) The Bruel and Kjaer Dyn-x Modules use two range overlapped 24 bit A-D's running at an effective 65536Hz sampling rate. Ideally not a multiple of common consumer or professional recording equipment.
