No obscurity intended.

Alternate configurations to me are a small set of equipment configurations that will be evaluated in close but ample temporal proximity. Perhaps four or less combinations evaluated over a period on the order of a weekend thus allowing multiple listening windows throughout a day or two.

I bet while sheepherders stare at the stars with their ears cocked for predators that their minds turn to contemplating the qualities that they really value in their audio systems and become quite unsuggestible.

Hmmm, I just checked your profile. Iffins you are a herder yourself and thus beyond suggestion, why would you doubt the rest of us?
