What does overactive imagination and delusion have to do with "intelligence", much less "aural"?
So, you did not read my posts on the ssme subject.
No.
(1) Same loudspeakers used were: Westlake BBSM-6 referenc monitor 91dB/m sensitivity.
Ok, so you had massive clipping/distortion shortly after turning on the system, much less turning it up. I'd be far more interested in the impedance curve. Of course, that would require measurement, something beyond your capacity?
(2) no premap. A hi-end audiophile brandnaem CD player hooked up direct to the power amps under test.
Are you joking or does the SS amplifier have output controls? Google's not helping with that amp.
(3) 4N purity silver ICs.
Mental jewelry or a vampire problem?
The sonic improvement was so obvious in term of musicality, details, imaging & soundstaging that he decided to go for tubes.
You mean the FR peaks caused by the output impedance of the tube amp, combined with the solid dose of distortion was enjoyed by you and your friend. The only thing you might have "proved" is that you crave FR peaks and distortion.
Since you built the amp yourself, I imagine this was intentionally designed in?
cheers,
AJ
