Hi.

As I posted last week, my cheapie homebrew 2x1W SET amp (all with old used parts) sonically blew away a USD5,000 brandname 2x100W classA dual-mono power amp & made a USD600 2x15W push-pull tube power amp (built brandnew by a DIY tube guru) sounded grainy & untasteful.

The auditions are all sighted. We all know beforehand cheapie should not beat the cosy. But the reality in my case proves the opposite.
