Were the DVDs any different? I don't know anything about any DVDs. I know about the CD remasters that were sort of supervised By Jimmy Page. They are compressed. Whether you hear it or not. They are clearly compressed. I thought that was what we were talking about. The Led Zeppelin remasters that are apparently the same remasters as the new compilation that was discussed at the begining of this thread. If the new complilation is the same as the remasters I bought and dumped then I see no reason to buy the new compilation. It's crap mastering. I don't see what any DVDs have to do with this. OTOH there are LP versions coming out in just a little while. They may be a different story. Time will tell. OTOH between Classic and good ole Robert Ludwig we have had some great masterings available for those who can tell the difference and appreciate it.
