Here's a post of his (that can be found on Whiner's). He's talking about himself!!:

I have far above average hearing ability.
I can hear differences between any two components.

I can hear those differences even when I listen to an unfamiliar stereo syetem in an unfamiliar audio store listening room.

I can usually hear those differences in a few minutes, or after a few songs.

What I hear is not influenced by audio advertising.

What I hear is not influenced by reading favorable component reviews or Recommended Component Lists.

What I hear is not influenced by hearing favorable comments about a component or brand.

What I hear is not influenced by my prior experience with a brand.

What I hear is not influenced by audio store salesmen.

What I hear is not influenced by peer pressure to always avoid saying "I can't hear any difference" ... or ... "I'm not sure I hear a difference".

What I hear is not influenced by pressure to "defend" my prior purchases of expensive audio components.

What I hear is not influenced by expectations that some brands will sound better than other brands.

I do not have to prove my hearing ability to others. I always know what I hear.

Comparing two components playing at different SPLs has no effect on my evaluations of those components.

Knowing the brands/models of components I hear has no effect on my evaluations -- if the nameplates were hidden, my evaluations would be exactly the same.

All other audiophiles who can't hear component differences under sighted or blind conditions either have inferior hearing ability or inferior stereo systems.

Using DBTs to show witnesses I can easily hear component differences under blind conditions would be compromised by the "stress" of this "forced choice" test. DBT's don't matter anyway -- I always know what I hear.

By the way, I also have a very high IQ. While I have no IQ test scores to prove this, the "stress" of "forced choices" on an IQ test would most likely lower my score. Therefore the score would not be accurate and would not reflect my true intelligence, which has been compared with Einstein*. I know who I am -- I don't need any test.

I can hear things others can't hear.

I don't have to prove this to anyone.

I know what I hear.

I am a Golden Ear Audiophile.

I am a superior person.

I am a Golden Ear Audiophile.

RICHARD BassNut GREENE
I am a recovering Golden Ear Audiophile since 1985
From the 1960's to about 1985, the Golden Ear Syndrome
was my fantasyland. Since 1985, DBTs and SBTs have
brought me back to reality.

PS: Due to overwhelming demand**, my stereo system, which
I call "My Stereo is Better Than Yours", has been posted
on this website. Feel free to criticize the equipment.
Like I care.

* My wife once said: "You're no Einstein!"

** One inmate asked me to post my system about two years ago
