I'd agree with your opinion of her 110%! Jessica Alba is the cat's meow with dark hair. At least my subjective opinion is that Jessica is much better looking with dark raven hair. Another person's opinion might be that Jessica is much better looking with light blonde hair. Still another person's opinion might be that Jessica is much better looking with deep auburn hair. In these cases Jessica's look is different, but not necessarily better, because all that was done, with the 3 different hair colors was to exchange one set of pluses and minuses for another.
That's a perfect illustration of when someone makes a change in audio. Many times the sound is just different, not necessarily better! Why? for the same reason as Jessica's hair color changes above, all that was done was to exchange one set of pluses and minuses for another.
A good example of this is when I exchanged a 5687 Tung-Sol tube with a 6900 Bendix tube in my amp. After making the exchange I listened and noticed that the soundstage was deeper, wider and taller. I also noticed a much greater sense of space around the musicians and their instruments than I had with the Tung-Sol 5687. IMHO the soundstage went from being like an extremely fine photgraph to a hologram "if" you'll allow me the usage of photography terms in my description. At the same time detail wasn't quite as good as it was with the 5687 tube.
So as you can see the 6900 had different pluses ---better soundstaging and a better sense of dimensional space. It also had different minuses ---less detail. To me the particular set of pluses and minuses the 6900 presented was a definite improvement ---because I prefer Jessica Alba with dark hair! Yet a person who values detail over soundstaging & dimensionality would disagree with me ---because they prefer Jessica Alba with blonde hair. Yet the reality is neither of these two presentations are objectively better, they are simply different with a different set of pluses and minuses.
