I did not suggest that the Clever Little Clock PERMANENTLY affected the human being, so that if the Clock was removed, the human being remained affected permanently.
My judgement of you and of your intelligence, was that you could 'grasp' another concept if it made some sort of sense. I am not claiming that anything - everything - I might suggest makes 100% sense but I judged that YOU would be able to have more understanding than others - because of all the things which YOU have personally experienced can 'change sound'
Our (P.W.B.) working concept is that we (human beings), the result of millions of years of evolution, are programmed to read/sense our environment every second of every minute of every hour of every day of our lives, scanning for signs (energy patterns) which denote danger - but that we are also programmed to read/sense our environment for signs (energy patterns) which denote reassurance i.e. "It's OK, you can relax, the danger has gone away.", and if we do not sense the energy pattern of reassurance or are unable to resolve the environment as 'safe', then we remain under tension until such time as we CAN 'sign off' the environment as 'safe'. And, in the modern environment - as you are already aware - this is becoming increasingly filled with spurious energy patterns - electro magnetic, RF and who knows what else.
To be able to 'sign off' the environment as 'safe' requires our survival mechanism - of which our working memory is an intrinsic part - to take a 'reading' of (say) a certain set of co-ordinates at one particular time (one second). And this 'reading' is then stored in the working memory. The next second another 'reading' is taken of the same set of co-ordinates and that second 'reading' is compared with the previous reading (already stored in the working memory) and any changes - or not - registered. And so on, and so on, throughout our lives !!! The problem within the modern environment is that so many 'energies' are constantly moving, sometimes quite erratically, making it extremely difficult for our (evolved but still quite primitive) survival mechanism to 'register/read' stable co-ordinates - and if we are unable to resolve the environment as 'safe' then Nature dictates that we remain under tension until we can !
Our working principle, is to create the necessary energy patterns associated with reassurance so that we (human beings) can 'pick up' those reassuring energy patterns during our continuous 'scanning' of the environment process and therefore begin to 'sign off' the environment as 'safe' and, in turn, begin to relax.
Because it is you (the human being) who is being affected, you can also experience the TV picture have better definition, better colours, better sheen of metals, better skin textures, better shine of glass etc !! As well as better sound !!! As you have just described.

Because it is the human being who is being affected, not everyone will experience everything in the same way !!! So, it does not surprise me that some (such as Len) do not hear what you (and others) can.
When I describe us (human beings) being 'affected' I am not saying that such as magnetic waves are travelling around the room and engulfing the human being who is quite possibly sitting listening to music 10 metres away from any magnetic source. What I am saying is that the PRESENCE, in the environment, of magnetism, of the pulsing AC power, of the different mixtures of chemicals etc are not allowing us (human beings) to 'sign off' the environment as 'safe' - until, that is, energy patterns associated with 'reassurance' can be supplied.
