I wasn't sure if I had something on my system that could play .AU format (since it wasn't immediately recognized by windows), but Foobar did. I think Winamp probably could as well. Clearly, the TestFileA has greater resolution than TestFileB. But TestFileB was a bit more musically interesting, subjectively speaking. (although the music itself, was musically uninteresting to me....)

I was going to give your Rush files test a go after seeing a link to that, but they don't seem to be working...
