Where to start. So many. Psychics, new age mysticism, many "alternative" medicines and treatments, comsetics etc.

You are arbitrarily limiting the possibilities of what makes someone value a particular product. It seems you subscribe to the Marxist POV that true value is a matter of labor and materials costs, nothing more nothing less. That is simply not true in a free market.
