The new one is based upon ultra high rez fullrange drivers, without any crossover impurities and nastiness. Paper cones, for by far the most natural sound. No horrid composites, metals, etc. It's a transmission line loaded hybrid, actively amplified, with super low power pure Class B devices, extremely linear at 1 watt or less. The standard unit is highly modified, for stunning improvements in sound - Black Gate caps have replaced the standard non-musical ones. A $20,000 pure platinum power cord has replaced the stock one and vanquished grain into the netherworld. The CD player is hard wired to reduce signal degradation from IC's. A brilliant clock (digital w/ alarm)is integrated into the design for jaw dropping increases in soundstage width and depth, extending it pass the walls of the room and across the street into the neighbors front lawn.
