He even praised a Mapleshade recording a few months ago. As for the psychology behind this tendency (I have no idea if it's real or not, but let's say it's real), the people I know who are specialized in science or philosophy are usually quite modest if I ask for their opinion about something they haven't really studied. They will tell me what they think, but will also refer me to more knowlegdeable people. Or maybe they all have small dicks.
