Temporary driver parameter changes in the range of 5-10% happen EVERY time the voice coils heat up.
No one seems to hear that.
But many claim to hear similar, but permanent, 5-10% driver parameter changes spread over 100 hours of use.
Can't hear the changes over only 5-10 minutes of use,
Can hear similar changes over 100 hours of use?
100 hour break-in is yet another audiophile myth.
It's true if the speakers were never tested at the factory, then the first 5-10 minutes of use will have temporary voice coil heat-up changes PLUS permanent driver break-in changes, and both changes happening simultaneously are often audible as weak bass.
Driver parameter changes after the first few hours of use are barely measureable, and very unlikely to be audible, except by audiophiles with overactive imaginations.

Now THIS is the MOST important audio topic EVER debated here.
