That's a meaningless comparison. Engine break-in for a car has to do with removal of remains of metal shavings that are left over from the manufacturing process. Failure to do so can damage the engine. Normally break-in is accomplished by adhering to speed and rpm limitations for a certain number of miles and then changing the oil. Improved manufacturing quality control has reduced or eliminated the need for a break-in period on many modern cars.
Even then, as parts wear on a car, they definitely do drive worse and eventually require the replacement of those worn mechanical parts.
I haven't heard of too many speakers that need their oil changed at 1,000 miles or need metal shavings blown out of the voice coil.
