Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

I would like some good evidence for it in audio.

I do not believe cryoing CDs will result in an audible change in performance. I do not believe freezing audio equipment will help it, although that is a new one for me. Why? Because I am not aware of any credible evidence that that these things change the performance. Uncontrolled sighted auditions are not reliable evidence for the audibility of small differences.

However, as the null hypothesis cannot be proven, all I can say is that I have seen no credible evidence that these things result in audible differences.

Credible evidence would be that people can prove they can hear the differences in controlled double blind tests, or alternatively, that measured results show sonic differences above known just noticeable differences, or both.
