As I said, I don't have access to the article in question. So I cannot comment on it. What more can I say than that?What I did post was a link to measurments of a modern SET amp that measures quite fine.
I am not sure what is meant by "anharmonic" because I haven't read the article. Others here seem confused by this as well. Is this modulation with the power supply noise? You would see this as fuzz around the harmonic distortion peaks. There is no fuzz in the measurments I linked to. Did you even look at them.
I can comment on the audibility of distortion and what distortion patterns seem to be more tolerable than others. So that's what I did.
