Problem example:One cd player or pre-amp ( rated at 60 Watt) , is to be powered through a separation transformer.
1. I would like to make it small so big spikes would not pass due to satuation of the core.
2. But, I would also like to make it large enough, so that the Volt on the secondary side would not fall to much.If I get a 0.5 Amp trafo what V. C. T. should I get?
Should I get 0.45 Amp 60 VCT, or 0.6A, 20 VCT?
